Apprentice Receptionist and Trainee Estate Agent
Location: Low Fell Branch
Hours: Full-time (Monday to Friday 8.45am-5pm, Saturdays 9am-1pm)
Salary: Apprenticeship wage (in line with government guidelines)

About the Role
We are looking for a motivated, organised, and confident Apprentice Receptionist and Trainee Estate Agent to join our busy Sarah Mains Low Fell office. This role is ideal for someone with a friendly, smiley personality who enjoys meeting people and takes pride in presenting themselves professionally.
As the first point of contact for the business, you will be the face of Sarah Mains Low Fell, greeting clients, contractors, and visitors both in person and over the phone. You’ll play a key role in creating a positive first impression, representing our brand values at all times through a smart, professional appearance and a confident, welcoming manner.
Alongside front-of-house duties, you will support the day-to-day running of the office, working closely with negotiators and management while learning how a successful estate agency operates from the ground up. Full training will be provided through a structured apprenticeship programme, combined with hands-on experience in a fast-paced, customer focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
● Answering incoming phone calls and dealing with general enquiries
● Greeting clients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
● Supporting the sales and lettings teams with administrative tasks
● Filing, scanning, and maintaining office records
● General office duties to support the smooth running of the branch
● Updating window displays
● Registering applicants

● Strong communication skills, both face-to-face and over the phone, as you’ll be the first point of contact for clients and contractors
● A positive attitude and genuine willingness to learn and develop within the property industry
● Well organised with good attention to detail and the ability to manage a variety of tasks
● Comfortable using basic IT systems, including email and Microsoft Word
● Reliable, proactive, and able to work well as part of a close-knit team
● A full driving licence would be advantageous
No previous office or property experience is required — this role is designed for someone at the start of their career.
Apprenticeship Details
● You will complete a Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship
● You’ll receive dedicated off-the-job training during working hours
● Ongoing support from both the employer and training provider
