Jim called into our Low Fell branch to express his gratitude for the outstanding service he recieved recently. 

Jim had no intentions of selling his beautiful home on Percy Terrace in Newburn until an annual check-up at the doctors last May completely changed his life. 

Jim said: "The doctor wanted to run some regular tests so I agreed  and returned the following week for the results.  They gave me the news no-one wants to hear, it was cancer and I was told I probably wouldn't last until Christmas if I wasn't treated quickly.  I was absolutely numb. 

"We had lived in our beautiful stone terraced cottage for years and had done so much work to it, it was absolutely fabulous.  I've been married to my lovely wife Diane for 19 years and my first thought was that I had to look after her in case I didn't make it, so we decided to sell up and move back to Westerhope to be nearer to her family. 

"Initially we put the house on the market with another agent and they weren't a patch on Sarah Mains.  I had my operation and treatment and thankfully it was all successful and I got the all clear.  We took the house off the market for a little while but Diane still wanted to move, so we approached Sarah Mains as they had sold around four houses on our street really quickly.
